After 10 1/2 Days of graft and com...mitting
paddling.
We 're back. A journey we started at Shrewsbury Weir in Sea Kayaks and
paddled all the way down the River Severn onto the Bristol Channel and
around the Welsh coast to Aberystwyth Harbour, then on the bikes for the
long pull up the A44 to Eisteddfa Gurig. We then set off on foot over
Plynlimon and to the Source of the River Severn and down to Nant Melen
and back on the bikes to Welshpool.
The final leg back in the boats for the final push to Shrewsbury Weir.
500 miles!

sport.
Whether
it’s your first time in a kayak or canoe or you’re a seasoned white water
paddler we have a course for you.
Our Kayak and
Canoe training programmes run alongside The British Canoe Union Star tests. You
can use these courses for improving your personal performance and measuring your
ability against a recognised criteria.

Following a very successful and popular series of talks over last few years, we
have asked Nigel to return once again, so come and join us
THE CLASSIC – A Paddle
in to the Past - Tuesday 3 July 7pm - 9pm
Our journey by canoe will explore the archaeology of the Severn loop around
Shrewsbury, looking at the town’s medieval defences and
castle, lost streams, ancient fords and bridges, historic wharfs, Victorian
health hazards and much more. Tickets £16
NEW THIS SEASON
Do the Double Loop
- Sunday 17 June 10am – 2pm
A walk and paddle; exploring hidden secrets of Shrewsbury’s
river loops.
Our journey begins at
Shrewsbury
weir, on foot we will explore the old abandoned river loop. Once at Frankwell we
take to the water and for our return by canoe to the weir. Tickets £25
